Whenever I do something online like play a game, it disconnects me but my wifi is fine

When I got this laptop around a few years ago I wanted to play games online with my friends and I always had a good time! But sometimes when I played, I would get a message that said I lost connection or "client timeout" or something along those terms, but my Wi-Fi never disconnected. No matter what game I played, whether it was Roblox or a game on Steam, as long as I was playing online, I would always get disconnected It happened at random, it could either take 10 minutes or 1 hour, but I would eventually get kicked out for the same reason.
