When will Microsoft have a software upgrade to fix the known printer problem with Windows 11 22 H2?

Since installing Windows 11 v 22H2 I am unable to use my HP OfficeJet Printer. The provided solutions for Registry edits are somewhat challenging for a non-technical user like myself. While I manage to follow them as best I could, in the end there was nothing that even showed any printers to "fix". When will Microsoft have a software solution available to fix the problem?
