When the laptop is not connected to AC adapter, Gpu & fans and keyboard light stops working

I have been using an ASUS TUF Gaming F15 FX506HE, which has integrated GPUs: Intel UHD Graphics and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti.Everything was functioning normally until I opened my laptop to apply thermal paste. After that, whenever my laptop is not connected to the AC adapter, the NVIDIA GPU is missing, and the laptop fans and keyboard lights stop working. When I connect it to the adapter, the GPU starts working, as do the fans (although sometimes the fans don't work, and I need to restart the computer). However, the keyboard lights seem to be stuck in "breathing" mode.How can I solve these i
