When I try to view a blocked threat I'm asked if I Want to Allow This App to Make Changes to Your Device? Is it okay to say Yes?

I'm seeing today that there's an issue with Defender finding all kinds of 'false' threats. To be sure, I want to click on some of the threats it found but when I do I'm asked "Do You Want to Allow This App to Make Changes to Your Device?" for Window Security. That makes me nervous and I'm thinking I should just say Yes. But I'm not clicking Yes until I can confirm it's okay.
