When I do a new Win 10 install it's giving auto updates I believe are causing problems

I have an older Windows 10 Toshiba laptop. It's the least I use but worries me the most as I've tried here and other forums several times to get a resolve on a problem. Pls don't ask. Everyone has tried everything. I just did yet another Win 10 Home new reinstall from the web, not from the local file. I see there are several updates dated 2023 by default or auto added. I think they might be the issue to my unresolved issue.But it won't allow me to uninstall those updates. And the hardware might be as old as 2016.
