When I buy a retail version of Windows 11 including a USB installation medium will I also get a digital license right away?

Since there are two options during purchase for me, Download or USB am I correct in the assumption that I will get the digital license in both cases right away? Or could it be that USB means that you will get an installation key for which you have to wait then?And while I'm asking, does Microsoft have any plans to give a better overview over the licenses you own on "account.microsoft.com" since currently you can list your devices but if I'm not mistaken you need to check each device individually to know what actual license you own.
