what's wrong with my asus pc battery?

My Asus pc battery has been acting up: when I charge my pc to 100% it tells me '50 minutes left' or so, and sometimes it just turns off and when I turn it back on (which only happens when I plug it in) it says 0%battery. I bought this pc 4 years ago and don't use it that much, so I don't think it's due to usage.
