What part of this comment is untrue, offensive, or a case of bullying? Is Ben Carson the best person you could find to promote your biased reporting? What does he know about education? Reading is more than knowing the 26 letters of the alphabet. Those 26 letters make 44 sounds (20 vowel sounds and 24 consonant sounds). The rules for those sounds are more confusing than any other language. It's not as simple as "I before e." Any teacher can tell you this.
