2 days ago, Inserted usb containing several bits of info including a Hirens restore boot. Originally made for a now obsolete desktop. Inserted into laptop to erase info & reuse. Microsoft Defender displayed- unwanted program (Hirens) detected, increasing fan speed. I deleted from usb, ran search found Hirens folder on laptop deleted it. Fan speed still fluctuating. Ran an offline Defender scan came back No threats detected. Ran a MYAsus app scan came back 0 Problems. Should I try a restore point now? Searched again for Hirens and did not find anything.
