What files, images and can my school access from the device I bring at school?

My school will be making devices - (Laptops only. Either windows 10 or 11, Pro Edition.) mandatory to bring as soon as our new session begins. I was told that they would make new ID's to use the school internet. They said that the device we would use would be used only for professional uses. Although they stated that they would format our hard disks completely, even track what applications we open and the sites we visit.
