What can i do to reduce my ping to gaming servers on client side?

Split from this thread. Quick question , What can i do to reduce my ping to gaming servers on client side , For example as you can see ive had another post but ive come across new info and wondering if you had any suggestions . For UDP , I heard theres something i can add in registry called UDPnodelay referring to TCPnodelay does this work ? by adding it and changing the value to 1 like TCP in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters .
