What can I do if the sound on my windows 11 doesn’t come from my headphones while I am watching something on google chrome?

I have checked everything the output device indicates that my headphones are on, but the sound still comes from the speakers. On the other hand when I watch something outside chrome with my headphones plugged in the sound comes from them and from the speakers.
