What can be lost if i lost my microsoft account?

Recently I've lost my Microsoft account, and it says I need to sign in. When I do that, it says the account doesn't exist. I can still log onto my PC and change some things inside the settings other than personal info. I'm worried I will lose everything on my PC at some point. and yes, i did go through the process of trying to get my account back with supportand they said they cant give it back to me, which is some BS
