The images on the web, running IE8 on an Acer Netbook, have shrunk to

miniscule size. For instance, the whole of Google.com is only 1/2 inch by

1/16th. I thought my new Acer had gone out, but non internet stuff is fine,

only web pages. I tried shutting down and also did a "reset" on Internet

tools/advanced, but didn't work. Thanks for any help.

Never mind. I fixed it. There a not too obvious drop down at the bottom

right corner that had somehow gotten changed to 10% - so upping it to 100%

cured the problem. Oh, if only all problems were so easy to remedy!!

Hi Joan,

You are not the first to have been confused by your IE zoom settings. It is

easy.

Regards.

Even so, I have noticed that what was 100% in IE v.7, is now 125% in IE v.8

Hi Lynn,

That is your High resolution screen settings of 120 DPI.

Management instructions vary depending upon your OS version.
