We have a problem of a folder (of a software ) appearing again and again in Windows/program data and user/local/appdata. The software was never installed on our PC but was installed on a different PC on LAN. The software was uninstalled months ago but still it's folders are created on other PCs on LAN , every other day on different timings throughout 24 hrs. What can be the steps taken to identify which process is causing these folders to appear from nowhere? We checked registries as well as all pertaining cache but no use. LAN scenario - 3 desktops on LAN. A,B and C. The software was use
