Washed out clips when I trim my videos with the Microsoft Photos app

My clips look washed out when I trim them. I tried repairing the app then resetting and it didn't work. Tried uninstalling then installing it again from the Microsoft Store but I got an error with the Code: 0x8024001E . Now I can't install it back. What do I do?
