Volume control in task bar does not adjust airpods headset Windows 11

After the Windows 11 update. I can't adjust the volume on my airpods 2. They are on 'max' volume all the time in Teams app.System>sound>properties ==> output setting format test you can adjust the output volume normally, but it doesn't work in teams.
