Volume and brightness slider bars are missing when adjusting using FN keys

[Windows 11]

Whenever I use the FN keys to adjust volume or brightness, both are adjusted normally, but there is no slider in the icon that pops up at the bottom of the screen. It just has a line with a solid color. How can I get there to be a slider? Is something wrong with my computer?
