has anyone familiar with VMware Workstation? I want some version for older

hardware ( Cel 2.6GHz,1Gb RAM, win XP), so the last version v7.0 probably is

not the right choice, it mainly for new dual dual-core processors, Vista.

There is also previous versions VMware workstation available: 6.5, 6.0, 5.5,

5.0, 4.5

The install pack also significantly different, from 92mb to >600mb for

latest vers.

Anyone know which version would be OK?

VMware may have sold the product but did'nt mfg the hardware, probably

intel.Try intel.com/downloads,for updates.

No. My question was which version from VMware Workstation will better suit.
