Hello,
I purchased an used HP Desktop with Vista Business on it. Vista SP1 (KB936330) shows itself (both) installed and cancelled in "Windows Update History." The last time I tried installing SP1 a message to the effect that, "This will take a few hours and your PC may reboot itself several times" displayed. As soon as I began the install it quit.
I tried resolving the issue using the method outlined in the article, "Windows Vista SP1 (KB936330) Issue," but it did not work.
At this point I don't know if Vista SP1 has been installed or not - because it says both cancelled and installed - as mentioned.
Another point that may be affecting this, is the PC only has I.E. 7 on it. I have tried updating it to I.E. 9 but every time an error message is displayed and I cannot download it.
Any help will be greatly appreciated!
