I have had something strange going on since Aug 15, this only happens in the evening around 7pm or so. I will be on my laptop in different websites, and I have an alarm sounding stating it is from Microsoft and that I have a virus and it is downloading all my credit card information and to call this number below. I did this on 8/15 the number was 855-628-1810 there was no one there and there was a voice stating the customer has traveled out of the area, etc, I rebooted my computer and it was okay, then a couple of days ago the same thing happened only there was a different number listed 1-855-261-1262 so then I did call, the gentleman stated he was from Microsoft IT security his name was Ricky Stevens and he gave me this number to call back 877-694-1850 if we got cut off, so he continued to tell me to run this and that and my security on my computer stated that this was unsafe to run, I told him this and he stated not to worry about that, so I asked him what exactly is he doing, he stated he was gong to remote in to see what the problem was, I told him no, I would get someone from Dell to do this for me, he continued arguing with me. Not sure if this was legit but wasn't going to take any chances. Do you know anything about these numbers or this Ricky Stevens? And what should I do if this is a scam.
