Virus and threat protection stuck on getting protection info and just loading

Hello guys i have noticed a problem when checking the laptop that i newly bought. When i go to Virus & threat protection in setting it keeps loading but not loading like the users it is not the problem of the users .i am so sorry for not being able to provide a screenshot .I will try to describe the picture that i am seeingWhen i go to the Virus and threat protection section it says getting protection info and loads just loads it has been loading for the past hour. except it mostly things are altright the right section where it shows the community help is alright also the left bar where i
