View Settings in Outlook (New)

In the Outlook (New) app there appear by default three columns of equal width. I would like to "narrow" the folder pane and the messages list to allow more screen space for the reading (and writing) pane. If there is a way to do this in Settings, I can't find it. Can anyone advise me?
