Recently we had posted a WMV file into a file share on our network for users to view. We found an issue with Windows 8 workstations that were viewing the video that if they navigated forwards or backwards in the video the audio portion would
play properly, however the screen image would not change from the last image viewed for sometimes up to to a minute later. Is this a known issue with the new media player in Windows 8? If they chose to open the video in
the "old" style media player it advanced and rewound as expected.
