User OneDrive Desktop not showing Public Desktop folder (C:\Users\Public\Public Desktop) contents.

I'm a tech support professional here.We recently migrated to OneDrive Desktop's for users across the organization.I'm now finding that shortcuts added to (C:\Users\Public\Public Desktop) are not showing up on the users specific desktop inside their windows profile desktop on their screen.MANY configuration scripts leave a public desktop shortcut.How do I update the users so that these appear as expected?
