User account not found

Hello, I have a problem revolving around my user account. Upon logging into my account, a message popped at me, I don't remember the wording but it was something about my user account not being found. I didn't have to click anything though, it just informed me of that as if that was a normal thing to happen. When I logged in, I found that all of my preferences and saved passwords were gone. I specifically remember there was NO Windows update the day prior and checking my past updates confirmed this theory, the last big update was "more than 10 days ago" so it wouldn't even let me go to the pre
