User account made into a temp account then restored?

I turned on my PC (Win 11) today and had a message during startup saying something like the user profile service failed sign-in. I was using my PC and the account perfectly fine yesterday. I restarted, and it then made my account temporary with all of my shortcuts gone (no missing files thankfully) and I was signed out of all of my installed apps. I restarted again and everything was restored. What caused this and how can I avoid any future issues?Thanks!
