I wanted to eliminate the welcome screen to save time logging in. I

unchecked the Welcome Screen box under User Accounts. I only remember 2

accounts. Then I lost all sound. I tried to restore, but that failed. So, I

went back to enable welcome screen. It did not display, but did allow me to

log off and switch users. When I go back to one of the 2 original user

accounts, the sound works fine. I reboot or switch back to administrator (I

assume is where it was going when I unchecked) and there is no sound. How do

I get sound on the administrator user account? XP SP2
