Use pre-installed product key to dl win 7

Hey, back in the days I bought a dell vostro 3560 with pre-installed win 7. Now the hdd has lived its last days and I need to replace it. I would like to reinstall Win 7, so I tried to download the ISO file. When I try to do this under registering my 25 digits win 7 key from the laptop sticker, an error occurs which tells me that due to being pre-installed this won't work for me. I am unsure how to proceed as I cannot access the laptop with the old HDD and cannot get Windwos for the new SSD. Every help would be much appreciated!
