I've been struggling for 8 months (see my other post "Monitor doesn't turn off after specified time"), trying to get my new Windows 11 laptop to sleep automatically. Three days ago, I had a breakthrough. I just confirmed that it's my external USB keyboard that is triggering my laptop to not go to sleep automatically. When I unplug the keyboard, the automatic sleep happens on schedule. When I plug it back in, the computer remains sleepless. Although I've tried many potential fixes, I haven't found a solution.
