USB C doesn't detect video output

About a month and a half ago I had some problems with a game and it resulting in my laptop not responding, receiving a windows crash pop up and then it proceeding to gray screen. This problem has been fixed from the help of the game's support team but during those problems the last instance had also resulted in my drawing tablet, which I connect via a type-c to HDMI adapter as I already use the HDMI port for a separate monitor, to no longer receive signal.The tablet still runs, receives signal when I simply connect it via HDMI and otherwise presents no problems.So far I have tried:-Using a new
