USB audio device RODE AI-1 powering off when no audio is being sent to it makes it wake up again.

Since the latest Win 11 update or the one before it my external audio device RODE AI-1 keeps shutting off. Sending audio to it makes it start up again.I am using the latest drivers. There is a page on this on their website Link The suggested fix: set “USB selective suspend setting” to “Disabled”, does not fix this.
