Upgrading to Windows 11

Just got the message that the processor in my laptop does not meet minimum requirements. So, I can't upgrade to Windows 11.However, my processor is: Intel Core i7- 6500U CPU @ 2.50 GHz. I don't understand. Please help.Thank you,Michael
