I bought a new notebook and would like to upgrade Home to Pro. Perhaps the upgrade is free. I went into System/Activation settings and changed the product key to the generic VK7JG-NPHTM-C97JM-9MPGT-3V66T, I then clicked Start and the Upgrade Your Edition of Windows box opened with the option to Start. Does this mean that I may proceed to upgrade without charge? I want to be sure I entitled to do so without any issues. Thanks.
