I had the SSD that came preinstalled on my system fail. i replaced it and after some fixing of the recovery media boot.wim (the system's intel RST version in Bios was upgraded from 16 to 17, but the files in the factory recovery were for v16 and would no longer work on my system. i had to go to another computer and edit the boot.wim, replacing the intel RST CLI file with v17) i was back at running the factory default Windows 10 Home. I immediately used the anytime upgrade (or whatever they are calling it these days) to go back to pro. then came the windows updates. in the past i had to work my
