Hi all,

I've just upgraded 2 PC's from XP home to Pro. These 2 PC's now won't
install updates from Windows Update. They download fine but when I click
'Install', I get an error message stating that 'A problem with your computer
blah blah...' Is this a known issue and if so, does anyone have a
fix/workaround for this ? Many thanks.

Regards Colin.

I am having this same problem and don't see any solutions in the
troubleshooting section. Anyone else having this problem?

Can you complete the "blah blah". The complete error message in it's entirety would be needed

Hi to all who replied,

Sorry but I can't remember the 'blah blah', I assumed it was a standard
error message. I belive it was 'a problem with your computer prevented the
installation of the following updates', followed by all 74 updates. I cannot
access these PC's until Monday so I'll try again (plus a few tips I found
through searching this NG) and repost. Thanks for your help.

Regards Colin.
