Update to 24h2 stopped ethernet connecting to internet

[Windows 11]

Since updating to 24h2 my ethernet has been unable to connect to the internet but it can connect through wifi albeit much slower as i have 1tb broadbandIve seen many post about the same issue and tried everything they've all listed and nothing worksand unfortunately im unable to roll backExcept if i change my router to modem mode the ethernet connects and starts working againBut upon switching back to router mode the ethernet stops working again and is unable to connect to the internetAsus rog strix x670e-f
