Hi, I'm having issues updating to the latest update. The Settings App gives me this error:
I looked the error code 0x80070003 up and tried troubeshooting with the included option is the Settings App and by downloading the troubleshooter from this page, but it seemed as if it didn't find any issues. I also tried purging the files to get windows update to redownload them and that didn't work (although I'm not sure I actually deleted them).
I also tried the Windows Upgrade tool, which gave me this error:
And then this:
I also tried the following list of commands in cmd:
net stop wuauserv
net stop cryptSvc
net stop bits
net stop msiserver
Ren C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.old
Ren C:\Windows\System32\catroot2 Catroot2.old
net start wuauserv
net start cryptSvc
net start bits
net start msiserver
And:
dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth
My antivirus is the stock from Windows 10, so that shouldn't be an issue.
Does anyone know how to solve this without needing to reinstall the OS?
