Unable to use mouse in windows 10

I’ve read all of the suggestions given by Microsoft and other sites and have tried them all but nothing works. I did an upgrade to Windows 10 and now all of a sudden my mouse doesn’t work anymore. It worked just fine before. I’ve tried to go to the computer brand company to update drivers but with the mouse not working, I can’t enter the web address or click on anything. I’m about to toss my computer. Please help
