I have tried to self troubleshoot using other threads found here and here.
Currently running Windows 10 Home 1809 (OS Build 17763.1518)
Attempting to update to 1909
When attempting to update, the PC gets to ~57% then reverts settings.
-Stopped windows update services, restored some files, and restarted the services (Refer here)
-Ran tweating.coms system update repair tool (which got the windows troubleshooter to work). Failed update
-Ran Windows Troubleshooter for the update process, ran successfully, I recall a couple security issues were corrected. Failed to update
-Ran the updater, when it started installing i logged off the windows account as some users said that corrected the issue.
I DO have Norton Antivirus running, but disabled protection for all install attempts.
I ran the update log via Power Shell.
Generally I would ignore it (as i have been) but I need to update windows past a certain point for ray tracing to work
.
Any help would be very appreciated, i'd like to avoid a complete reinstall if possible.

Currently running Windows 10 Home 1809 (OS Build 17763.1518)
Attempting to update to 1909
When attempting to update, the PC gets to ~57% then reverts settings.
-Stopped windows update services, restored some files, and restarted the services (Refer here)
-Ran tweating.coms system update repair tool (which got the windows troubleshooter to work). Failed update
-Ran Windows Troubleshooter for the update process, ran successfully, I recall a couple security issues were corrected. Failed to update
-Ran the updater, when it started installing i logged off the windows account as some users said that corrected the issue.
I DO have Norton Antivirus running, but disabled protection for all install attempts.
I ran the update log via Power Shell.
Generally I would ignore it (as i have been) but I need to update windows past a certain point for ray tracing to work
.Any help would be very appreciated, i'd like to avoid a complete reinstall if possible.
