Unable to turn bluetooth on or off on windows 10

I recently purchased some new bluetooth headphones, i managed to connect them to my computer on first use. after disconnecting them and connecting them again at a later time they werent woking properly, i was unable to hear any audio coming through. after disconnecting them and attempting to remove the device the switch to turn bluetooth on or off simply disappeared from the settings. i attemped a few fixes like verifying the drivers but that has lead me nowhere. i would really love to fix this issue without having to reset my device.in the windows support forums i found an article about fixin
