Unable to Sign in to Microsoft Apps on Desktop

Dear Support Team,I am experiencing an issue with signing in to Microsoft applications on my desktop. I have verified with my university's IT support that my Microsoft account is active and can be used to sign in on other devices. However, I am unable to sign in on my desktop.I suspect that a recent Windows update may have caused this problem.
