Unable to sign in as verification method service is down and no alternative method available

Hi My account was blocked due to some unknown activity. When I try to sign in I am redirected to verification page. When I input my phone number I get a message that verification method is currently unavailable. I tried to reset my password for which I again was sent for verification. This time I got the SMS on my phone and was able to change my password. However, when I tried to sign in with the new password I was taken again to the verification page where the I got the same error that verification service is not available. I donot have any other verification methods setup other than my phone
