Hello, I work as a contractor for an Air Force base and part of my job is to provision student accounts each week. The process involves sending out PII to various others in the chain of partners that search student information such as DOD numbers that go with the SS#'s that I need to verify students security clearance. Two of these people can send and receive PII encrypted emails to and from another person in my office but not to me. I can send and receive encrypted emails to tons of other people in the process but not these two.
What I have done so far:
I have gone to the PKI site and downloaded their certs, and then imported the certs to their respective locations in my contacts. Their certs do not expire until Sept of 2021 so that's not the problem. Then I examined the default certs installed for each one and deleted the expired certs which made the valid certs the new defaults. For good measure, I went to the GAL and ensured that my cert is published. Still no joy - unable to send these two any encrypted email.
If anyone can figure out why some people can send them encrypted email but I can't I would be very grateful to find out and fix this.
Thank you.
