Unable to remove Snipping Tool default use of PrintScreen key on Windows 11

Hello, I just got a new laptop with pre-installed Windows 11. I want to use a third party app to make screenshots instead of the default Snipping Tool. I uninstalled the Snipping Tool and edited the register to disable it (following this tutorial: How to Enable or Disable Snipping Tool or Print Screen in Windows 11/10,) but even after all of this, pressing the PrintScreen key still opens a Snipping Tool window.
