Unable to get WSL running in my development Windows 11 VM

I'm trying to get WSL 2 working on my Windows 11 KVM based VM but I'm stuck in a vicious cycle as follows:* Enable-WindowsOptionalFeature -Online -FeatureName VirtualMachinePlatform* reboot* preparing automatic repair* attempt to access safe mode to resolve* we couldn't complete the features...* something didn't go as planned...* back at desktop* feature is not enabledI even thought that maybe the issue was only affecting Windows 11 21H2 so I upgraded to 22H2 only to end up in the same quagmire. Is there a known solution for this? Please let me know what you need to help me get out of this h
