Unable to download a Security Update for Microsoft XML Core Services

"Error opening installation log file. Verify that the specified log file location exists and is writable." I get this message when I try and download a Security Update for Microsoft XML Core Services 4.0 Service Pack 2 for x64-based Systems. Can anyone help?
