Unable to delete a onenote notebook in Android Notes app

I read some online descriptions about how to delete a notebook, after closing files, but I cannot do this in my (latest) Android app version of Onenote.I use Office Professional 2016 Notes on a windows PC as well as synching with the latest Android vesion of the app.I had two unwanted notebooks, one created locally on the PC Russell 24, the other in Onedrive ..Oct 24.
