Unable to Connect to Wifi

My computer just lost the ability to connect to internet via Wifi. The Wifi button has vanished from the network panel and when I look at my drivers, my wifi adapter has a code 10 issue. I have tried everything, from disabling and re-enabling the adapter, uninstalling and reinstalling the adapter, and checking for general windows updates.
