Unable to change Windows 10 screen saver and lock settings

I was trying to change my Windows 10 screen saver and lock settings but I'm unable to do so. The system is telling me:*Some of these settings are hidden or managed by your organization.What is happening here? Previously I used this computer to access the network of a company I was contracting to but that arrangement ceased some years ago. In any case I never imagined that their control would extend down to this level.How can I fix this and restore some meaningful autonomy to my system so that I can change these very basic settings?
